Q: Why should I use Instrumentation for Traffic Law Enforcement (Pty) Ltd as a supplier?
A: ITLE is the sole supplier on the African continent for the Whelen/Woodway and Truvelo range of products, maintenance, accessories and repairs. We choose our suppliers very carefully to ensure we market and supply only the premier products available to our valued customers. We have a policy of purchasing only original products from well established companies, not cheap copies! Our products are rated the best by traffic officers and government agencies the world over. All Light bars are built at the factory to customer specification. Whelen/Woodway and Truvelo products have been adapted for the African Market.
Q: Do you sell 'emergency lights' to the general public?
A: We only sell 'emergency lights' to Public Safety and Emergency Services and organizations that are authorized to use them. If you wish to purchase an 'emergency light' as an individual we may ask you to supply evidence that you are authorized to use them.
Q: Do your Products have any Standards of Approval?
A: Yes. Where applicable our warning products are SAE, 'e11', California title XIII, ECE65 and NFPA approved. These are Internationaly recognised standards. All speed measuring equipment is SABS/Test Africa approved.
Q: What testing do your products have?
A: All our products undergo extensive manufacturers testing during development. In addition all parts manufactured undergo end of line testing. Wherever applicable all products are tested to the appropriate CE & Automotive standards.
Q: What warranty do your products have?
A: All our products are covered by the original manufacturer's warranty.
Q: What do I need to do for a warranty return?
A: The client must first return the product for warranty appraisal at our factory. If the product is found to have failed under the terms of the manufacturers warranty it will be replaced with a new part, not repaired, and will be returned to the customer post paid. If a part has failed on a vehicle under the terms of the manufacturers warranty, it will be repaired free of charge if brought to our workshops in Midrand.
